Hello and welcome to Scoil an Chroí Naofa’s website.
Scoil an Chroí Naofa is a Catholic school under the patronage of Bishop Michael Duignan of Clonfert.
We are a mixed school from Junior Infants to 6th class with a Special Class for children with autism and 2 Special Classes for children with Developmental Language Delay. We have 13 mainstream teachers, 14 Special Education teachers and 7 Special Needs Assistants.
Located in the centre of Ballinasloe town, Scoil an Chroi Naofa is a DEIS Band 1 school which means we are fortunate to have a lower pupil/teacher ratio of 22:1 as well as lots of additional programmes available in the school such as breakfast club, school lunches, homework club, summer programmes and a Home School Community Liaison teacher.
Scoil an Chroí Naofa is an inclusive school and we welcome all children. Our staff are dedicated to providing a broad and balanced curriculum to ensure the holistic development of every child and help them achieve their fullest potential. We provide a safe and caring environment where every child is valued and respected and these values permeate all aspects of school life here in Scoil an Chroí Naofa.
