Members of the Student Council had a fantastic day in Dublin yesterday.
We visited the Houses of the Oireachtas, including Dáil Éireann and Seanad Éireann, and also explored the National Library of Ireland and the National Museum of Ireland.
We were delighted to meet local representatives Martin Daly T.D., Claire Kerrane T.D. (who kindly invited us), and Senator Gareth Scahill. Mary Lou McDonald, Leader of Sinn Féin and Leader of the Opposition, also stopped for a chat.
The children were fortunate to see both the Dáil and Seanad in action. It was a memorable day, and the pupils were a credit to themselves, their school, and their families.
